 Yes, a modest invenstment in an inexpensive gauge or two (0-100 & 
0-300/500 psi) can adequately equip the home shop for occasional 
pressure checks -- and it is often nice to have a reliable mechanical 
hand gauge for those pesky "actual oil pressure" checks.
