The PG sold me on 4-speeds, since the PG had only 2 speeds : too high and
too low.
(I had a Chevy TurboGlide before that, with "continuous-shift" from low to
high with no discernible "gears")
Even the three speed stick was an improvement but the 4-speed was nice (plus
the 4-speed was synchro, while the 3-speed was not?)
