A couple of years ago I ran my 63 with a super charger. Problems with them ,they run two hot on a Corvair. The heat will even sieze up the engine.

back in the 64 - 65 era i did two supercharger kits on 64 110 hp 4 speed
cars , and both had issues that made us take them off and sell them.  cant
remember everything , but they were both just about brand new (weeks old!) cars.  i
think we could not resolve crankcase pressure issues, but i cant remember
much  from back then.

my best performance improvement ever was just homebrew dual exhaust and the
bill thomas 4 carb kit on a 110.  ran stronger than a 65 140 at the  time!  if
i had the cash i would buy another updated kit like that in a  heartbeat.  i
have fond memories of that motor and another old 102 engine i  did that to
also. now clarks has that kit with much better linkage and  aircleaners
available, along with other dream improvements. THAT is where  john Q corvair should
put his cash. better low end torque than a 140 for  sure.
regards, tim colson
