<VV> lights (Corvair or otherwise)

Hear hear. And in a Vair there isn't exactly much you need to see, is there?
As long as you know roughly how much fuel you have, there's only the speedo
to be bothered with (unless you have one of them thar fancy ones) - the
speedo, and keeping one's fingers crossed that the idiot lights don't come
on.

But yes, I agree wholeheartedly with this. Human eyes aren't made to keep
making continual adjustments from bright to dim - they need a constant light
level and to be able to stick with it.

Cheers

Alan

P.S. Of course, if you have a late Monza like mine, you might have a clock.
But I don't - I have the HUGE central blanking plate which stares you right
in the face and says to you (nay, shouts at you) over and over and over:
'YOU WERE TOO CHEAP TO BUY A CLOCK'...

(;-)))
