Oh, don't worry.  He's a "corvair guy" through and through.  When I talked
with him yesterday he was already dreaming about getting a '60 4dr when he
gets back to Victoria.  He is following the typical Corvair descent into
madness..

His 1st 'vair was a '66 Monza vert.  The 2nd a '63 Turbo Coupe and now he
wants the '60 4dr.  Some people make an intervening step by getting an FC
before going to the '60 4dr.  Which is where I'm currently at, and if I find
a clean horn-cut-out 4dr I just might make the final step into madness
myself.

While New York City is, admittedly, not the most car-friendly environment,  
there ARE several Corvairs and Corvair owners in the New York metropolitan  
region as well as in the actual five boroughs of New York City.  If the car
can 
make it on it's own power through a circuitous route from Victoria, BC to  
Pittsburgh, PA, it could have made it to New York for the WCC member.  Oh,
well.
