<VV> Beyond a Dues Increase

Yep.

And to follow up on my comment on not being willing to write a Communiqué article, I WOULD be willing to write articles for the web - and I have several in mind. They wouldn't have a lot of appeal to the "frugals", but they might be interesting to a new breed of Corvair folks. Stuff like installing a tilt column, re-instrumenting a late model, a nuts-and-bolts ground-up restoration, etc.

I'm going to chime in on Dave's message here since I agree with what he's posted. I would also like to add that in addition to rearranging the web site, I think we should also consider accepting on-line advertising as an option. My understanding is that if you post a link to someone elses web site, they will pay you for each time someone links into their site from yours. In addition to the obvious Corvair specific vendors, I can think of a few additional companies who I would contact as possible candidates for advertising:
Maaco
Steele Rubber Products
Year One
Summit Racing
Jegs
Classic Industries
Any number of car care manufacturers (McGuires, Turtle Wax, California Car Cover, etc.), and the list goes on.

Granted, you're not going to create a huge revenue stream from this, but a simple email about another dues increase could drive member to click on their links repeatedly!

Just another thought to consider.
