In the dues and lack of funds for our club debate I stand somewhat in the middle. I will look at renewal of dues the same as I must do in my business on a regular basis. I compare the benefits or enjoyment I receive and decide if I want or need that reward to pay the cost involved.
For 19 years the answer for me has been yes. I assume it will continue be yes but I will not know untill I must make that decision.
One of the thoughts I have as I think about this is what will happen if in a year or two Corsa does not exist. I fee an obligation to do my part in the effort to keep Corsa alive.

I have often wondered why we don't think enough of our cars to charge admission or at least ask for donations for the general public to see our cars at the annual convention.

I know many National clubs charge a fee to enter the car show area. The Mopar National charge as much as $30.00 for three day pass. The Chevelle (ACES) charge $10.00 for a one day pass to see less than 100 cars.

I believe it would be easy to have 500 visitors pay $5.00 each to see our cars at the Convention. We always get free publicity in any city we have the National convention.

Just a suggestion for every VV to shoot down as is done with any new idea.
