<VV> Wow! Corvair content on VV!!!!!

Okay, how about this? Today I drove my low, low miles 1963 
Monza sedan for the first time. Had it up to 55 MPH on the 
road out of town. After getting the engine to run after 
being silent for 29 years all the car needed was a new set 
of tires and to have the wheel cylinders rebuilt and a new 
set of brake hoses installed. The brake linings looked 
fine as they should with only 16,590 miles on the clock. 
Everything else seems to be good to go. I still have a 
problem with stains on the seat covers from extended 
exposure to mildew. A friend gave me some really good 
cleaner and I've scrubbed and scrubbed but can't get all 
of the discoloring out. The stuff is good but really did a 
number on my hands. Hey! At least the hands are clean!! I 
hate to replace the seat covers since I'm trying to keep 
this one as factory stock unrestored as is practical. 
Anybody have any suggestions?
