There's more to the HOE story.
The Nevada DMV had issued those plates to the man for a number of years 
before the denial incident occurred.
Seems some overreaching bureaucrat at the DMV staring making denial 
decisions based on an internet dictionary of some kind that has absolutely 
no academic credentials or credibility, but was plenty PC.
I queried the NDMV about plates for my Corvair in Las Vegas, but found that 
all the really good ones are already taken.
SIGH...
