<VV> PG Transmission Questions?

Hello:
  This week, I have noticed a serious PG Transmission oil  leak.  Right 
now, it is difficult to tell what
is causing this problem.  It would be appreciated if someone  could tell 
me, the approximate number of hours (normally) it would take  to service this 
problem?
Parts that could be replaced:
1.  Torque Converter Seal?
2.  Modulator Valve?
3.  O-Ring Seal?
4.  Main Gasket Set?
   Would the majority of you, completely drop the engine  and transmission, 
before attempting to work on it?  What recommendations  would you share 
with me, in fixing this serious transmission
oil leak?
