Slight correction.

The Delco A-6 is the same as the Frigidaire A-6. Frigidaire was a
division of General Motors back in the 50s 60s. When they sold
Frigidaire, the car A/C parts were just branded Delco.

edit, GM bought into Frigidaire in 1919! GM sold Frigidaire in 1979. Now
they are owned buy the Electrolux people.

But, Harrison was also on some A/C compressors, so they must have
branded the A6s with three different lables at different times. How
confusing. See: http://www.adclassix.com/ads2/60gmharrison1.htm and
http://www.capitolsupply.com/gsa.automotive-tools-accessories.a-c-temp-a-c-clutches-components.csi?pg=ilist&sid=
where the compressors have all three names....

As John (?) says, the Corvair A-6 is different than the other A-6s, as
it turns backwards.

This is a must, otherwise, a standard GM A6 won't last on a Corvair. However, remove the standard rear head, replace it with the Corvair rear head, and you're in business!
