I was in a Douglas C124C somewhere between Hawaii and Guam - we were 
taking refurbished Huey helicopters from Corpus Christi Naval Station to 
Tan Son Nhut AB, South Vietnam....  heard it on the HF radio . . .

We stayed up till the middle of the night to hear the radio?broadcast live on Armed Forces Vietnam Network (AFVN). Not in a Corvair. - Seth
