Good golly, yes!!!   I used ordinary drafting tools to do my  first fan 
design; wouldn't have dared designing a head that way.  It makes  me appreciate 
the work of yesteryears' draftsmen, who did things in great detail  (if old 
patent drawings are any indication) with hand-held tools (and in INK  yet!)
