     Good point!  I was thinking of my Flamethrower coil which has a resistance of 0,65 ohms, about HALF of the stock coil.  But if he's got a coil with the same resistance as the stock one, then his current flow could be the same but only IF he has the same voltage at the coil.

How do you figure? The Flamethrower I coil has a pri res of 1.35 ohms, same as the stock coil. Impedance may be even higher than stock. Currents should be about the same......He never said that he has a FT II coil.
