I brought three teen age grandkids, 13, 15, 17,
Michael brought two teenagers, 13, 17
McCleads brought on 17 yr old
Gundlocks brought one 18 yr. old
They were all eating Pizza in the Achor room during the banquet.

The teens did not think it was too hot, I, however was absolutely
exhuasted.

Survey results were printed in the Communique just last year; Will
re-look some stats when I get home.

Warren and Sharon LeVeque brought their school aged grandkids. that
statistic did not appear in the survey results.

btw: the sun is more directly overhead further north in late june than
it is in Florida.

My educated guess is that the bulk of Corsa members do not have school
age
children. People tend to have interest in the cars of their youth and
those
of us that had Corvairs in the sixties are in their fifties and sixties
now.
Biasing the convention date for school children, it appears to me, does
more
harm than good.

Does anyone know the actual demographics of the club? It might be worth
finding out, if not.

In my case, a trip to Florida is a significant expense and if I am
going to
make the trip, it will be in winter or early spring, not in the heat of
summer.
