You can't.  You'll also need to remove the gen/alt & bracket, idler pulley, 
carb balance tube, fuel pump/lines and it's much easier if you remove the 
throttle rod from the tv lever on the transmission. If you remove the input 
line from the fuel pump you can remove carbs, lines, and pump as a single 
unit.
