Subject: <VV> Watch that tape!

I just got another YH carburetor in for "repair" that had a nice big glob of Teflon tape completely blocking the fuel inlet seat where the owner had wrapped it around the threads of the fuel inlet fitting. Because of the poor design of the fuel stainer (it doesn't seal), it won't stop it (thus the in line filter). For those who insist on using this, please don't ;-). If you need to seal the fitting, use a fuel proof liquid/gel/paste sealer lightly only on the 2-3 outer most threads. Then let it dry almost completely and check to ensure none got in the area of the outlet before installing.
