Based on your question, I would strongly recommend Bob Helt's book "HOW TO IDENTIFY AND REBUILD CORVAIR ROCHESTER CARBURETORS". I'm sure all the vendors have it and it has an immense amount of easy reading information as well as lots of pictures.The picture you refer to is indeed a bit misleading. The power enrichment valve goes underneath the venturi cluster. I hope this is helpful to you.
