<VV> 102hp paired with Powerglide?

Of course the first engines were 80hp and the manual trans was a bit of an
afterthought, so I can't see any reason not to use a 102. You'll notice a
bit longer time to get up to "road speed", but it should not be terrible.

Subject: <VV> 102hp paired with Powerglide?

The crankshaft in my 110 hp engine just broke, and I have a working 102hp
engine sitting around but I'm concerned about pairing it with the
powerglide. What are your thoughts on this pairing? Should I just look for
another 110 hp engine? I'd like to get this back on the road as quickly as
possible.

Thanks in advance.

Jim
