1  You cut the firewall section from a 62-4  car...   100's have done it, if 
they drive the car above 50 miles per hour!   ggg
 
2  so that means you are not afraid to swap in a 65-9  Front  suspension and 
go to at least 14" wheels...
 
2 a     Those with Vairs in the back end still  usually covert to  FC  Axles  
and brakes....  simple 3/4"  [approx.]  spacer between backing plate and 
A-arm.
