There is very little room to work in (can just manage
to get two hands on it) and I have tried for the last twenty minutes
to get it disconnected with no luck. It doesn't budge a bit, and I
really don't want to tug on it any more than absolutely necessary.
Ideas?

If you have some wood chips jammed into the tines to keep them from
re-attaching you can spend your time and both hands to rock side to side and up and
down until on side or the other gives, then just keep rocking. I've done it
on several LMs but only done the rear engine bay junction on a FC so I don't
have much EM experience.  Don't worry too much if you pull a few  wires out;
you can re-anchor them in the junction block later with a little care if you
have to.
