Hasn't anyone considered the use of the 94 mm Mahle VW Aircooled cylinders"

They'll give you 3,000 cc! A set of heads CC'd to yield 8.5 - 8.75 CR
will allow the use of any 164 heads

The PG torque convertor is a nice heavy flywheel..

Several Vair shops across the country will supply the cylinders, pistons
and ALL machine work needed to your HEADS, rods and cases for approx. $1700

What do you pay for a stock set of pistons/ rings/ cylinders fitted?

An added bonus is the fact the piston pins are "full floating", meaning
you can change a piston by just removing a head and ONE cylinder.... nothing
more!

Several Ultra Van owners have done this....they say the difference is
tremndous!

Think what it's like in a vehicle weighing usually 1,000-1,500 lb
LIGHTER???
