I will fix my oil leaks that runined my alernator from the conversion kit for my 64.The replacement alternator is from a 69 corvair,however it has a external regulator not the internal regulated style of the kit.Can I use a 1969 solid state replacement in my 64?if so what are the procedures to make it work correctly? respectfully always, Nate
