As far has harness stuff goes, there's lots out there. For headlights, 
the best headlamp connector I've seen is the Echlin heavy duty flasher 
plug. Same connections as a headlight, but MUCH heavier leads and 
terminals. NAPA has 'em. I don't remember the part #, but when you ask 
them for flasher sockets, the one that's fairly flat and has somewhat 
side exiting FAT leads is the one!

sometime ago there was a post that had a web page that told how to 
rewire head
lamps with relays, and they also sold the parts
with plenty of good advice.
Also while I'm at it a web page of a place that had all kinds of 
connectors to
rebuild wire harness etc.
computer failed me and lost all my Corvair connections.
