The reason it won't see the US is because, at that price, it can't even
begin to meet the US safety or emission standards. Ever seen it? It looks
like a glorified golf cart in its construction. How'd you like to be hit
head-on at 55 in a golf cart? You get the idea.

Simply put, to meet the US standards, the car would probably have to double
in weight. Weight begats weight, as the engineering slogan goes. The heaver
the car, the more structure is needed, the bigger the engine needed, etc.
And the price goes up accordingly.

So there's no way we will ever see such an inexpensive car.

No plans to come to the US, when they do will lclc be the first to own one??
