Wire wheel caps can cause an out of balance condition.

IMHO, good tires, good shocks and proper alignment are the big  
things.  The '64 rear suspension is arguably better, but the first  
items will go a long way.  Once the spring baseball season is over  
I'll get to play with the wagon and try some things out.
