I think you said you were going to move your fuel pump up front.  You will
need a wire from the oil pressure switch to the pump.  You will also need a
switched 12V source.  Put the wires in before you button up the belly pan.

Before I attempt to replace the heater duct, is there any  
preventative maintenance that I should do now that I have that bad  
puppy disassembled?  I thought about washing it out and off.  Also,  
do the cables need to be re-greased in the tunnel and under the dash  
by the duct before replacing it?

After replacing the heater duct assembly, tunnel pan, reinstalling  
the rear seat, and rewiring the oil temp gauge and dual CHT, I'll be  
a motor mount short of a drive for the first time in eight months.   
Won't it be sweet.
