Like JR, said as long as a longer bolt hasn't been previously used you have
that to look forward too.

I would suggest switching to a stud, and loctiteing it in. This will allow
you to sink the stud all the way in as deep as you have threads and keep it
there.

You can put a nut on it and grind off the extra so it looks similar to the
heads of the other bolts or you can opt to stud all of the them so they all
look the same.

IF (note the big IF) you are lucky, and longer bolts have not already been 
used - that is something to try.  There is three or four unused threads left

up there with the stock bolts.
