I always honor our vets! In fact, today, I honored them by working on the restoration of a WWII artillery battery here in Delaware, that will be the museum for Fort Miles. We actually have a couple of vets who were stationed there. Needless to say, they are happy beyond words! Gives them something to root for.

Lew,
I'm reminded of a Mallard Fillmore cartoon wherein he quotes a great
patriot who said that the "Price of freedom is eternal vigilance". Then he
tells us that for some, the price was much
higher. And behind him are the thousands of crosses honoring dead soldiers in a
military cemetery.
It is for those fallen heroes as well as for you disabled ones that we, the
grateful survivors offer our salutes and our heartfelt thanks for your
sacrifices!
Best regards from a fellow veteran.
     Frank Burkhard

PS Lew, guess which person in the picture is a veteran!!
