<VV> Water Injection for L62 110 hp

I have Edelbrock Vari-jection on my '61 Rampside. It is currently in Group
Red. The engine has the step removed from the 110HP heads, 3 angle valve
job, 304? I think cam, forged pistons, cam advanced 4 degrees, and gapless
rings. With out water injection the truck was a joy to drive, for two
minutes. As soon as the engine started to warm up it was almost undriveable
because of the pinging. 100 octine gas helped but way to much pinging.
Vari-jection to the rescue. Very little pinging even when the engine was hot
and lugged giong up hill. Went on one long trip with everything working
properly and got over 24 MPG. That is going over real mountains and doing 80
MPH on the flats, in a brick. I used windshield washer fluid year around
instead of just water. Sure was fun to drive.
