<VV> Driver hits bridge pillar and dies in Orange

Troopers said Terry Davis, 43, of Orlando, died when his Chevy Corvair struck a bridge pillar.

A report from the Florida Highway Patrol shows Davis had been traveling eastbound on State Road 408 at 10:03 a.m. Monday when he drifted into the center median.

The front of his vehicle struck the pillar, ejecting him. Rescue crews said he died at the scene.
