<VV> Fuel tank sending unit issue

The previous owner must have adjusted mine that way. The bottom of my fuel
gauge should say W rather than E. As soon as the needle hits it, I have to
walk. Read: no reserve (Don't ask me how I know)

Filling my tank when the gauge shows about 1/8 tank will require only
7gallons.  I believe the tank is supposed to be 14 gallons.  The gauge
seemsto work correctly other than that.  Suggestions?

 That's correct!  Empty should take 9 gallons...   factory adjusted!


  Just pull the unit out and bend the wire   rod arm down approx. 2 " to get
11-12  at empty.
