Yesterday, I drove my Lakewood, Rampside and '64 Convertible from home to Radley Chevrolet in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Today, I drove the ElVair from home to same location. Ashley DuVal drove her vair (with "F Nader" plates) from the University of Mary Washington to Radley where she helped her Dad, Frank, and Dave Robertson reposition my shifter on the Lakewood. (Many thanks, Guys) Then Ashley drove the ElVair home for me. I ferried home the other three vairs for a total of 112 miles +/-. We had six Vairs in Radley's showroom which included Allen Bristows Yenko, Greenbriar with camper package and the last convertible built. We had eight or ten vairs in the outside display area. Members from the Central and Northern Virginia clubs were in attendance. There was a lot of traffic and comments on the vairs even though the Corvette crowd had a bunch of that brand around the corner. Radley had customer appreciation day with a large crowd that enjoyed our marveleous vairs. What a wonderful way to celebrate 50 years of vairing! Thanks to all that attended!! Thanks to Radley Chevrolet for sponsoring this event!!!
