Hello Bob,

The 11:1 was a mistake. I should have written 16:1. It is indeed a  
lean mixture problem. Someone suggested a vacuum leak so I'll check  
for those. Would also explain why the knocking goes away when the  
turbo comes on and delivers pressure, but that's just my assumption.
