I heard that while trying to figure out how to drive the fan, a designer went to the dentist. He saw how the dentist's drill was belt driven and bent around corners. The engineer came back to work and Walla, the bent fan belt was designed. Is this an urban myth? Has anyone got info to support this myth? Dave Thompson
