"Caution Car In Tow" written on rear window with white shoe polish,

FYI:
Back in the early 70's I was in a youth marching band. We all wore white
shoes with our uniform. One time,(at band camp) I wrote the band's name on
the back window of the bus we rode in with white shoe polish. After the two
week trip, we were asked to wash it off. We found that the polish etched the
glass. The bus now had a permanent LBJCB (Long Beach Jr. Concert Band)
etched on the back window.
