Instead of CORSA demanding 100% membership, they need to look inward at
themselves and look at how they can improve their package. CORSA needs to
elevate themselves to a point where the Corvair owner sees CORSA as a
tremendous benefit in belonging to the organization instead of being told that you
have to.

I feel that Corsa is certainly that important to me right now. A lot of
members (4500+) agree. And I still would feel that way, even if I was told I
had to join - If the reasons that membership was required were explained to
me. Now, I realize that not everyone feels that way. Corsa, for years has
tried to explain to the Corsa members who also belong to local chapters,
that the insurance costs that Corsa shared, were being paid for by the Corsa
members in the local clubs, but covered, equally, the non-Corsa member
attendees. If this was explained to the non-Corsa attendees, their local club
members, perhaps they would be encouraged to join Corsa and help spread the
load. I suppose that many will reply the way Hank suggested: "No, I'd rather
not pay and join - But thanks for the Free Beer, you Idiot!"

Their language may vary - but that is the correct translation.
