<VV> axel bearing

Mark, and gang,

I'll second this.... Back in 2005 when I'd had my first surgery on the leg I broke back in March 2004, my 1964 700 had a rear wheel bearing go bad, and two of my pals from the Derby City club drove nearly 60 miles one way to my house to replace that bearing for me, since I was unable to... David Campisano and Ken Maxwell had the job done in less than two hours, working in my gravel driveway, and provided just enough time for Cheryl to whip up a tastey lunch...

I am still very indebted to them, for helping me out when I wasn't able to do so myself... as I will remain to so many of my friends here on VV whom have helped me in so many different ways over the last 5 years.

Join a local club... and be active... don't just show up when you "need" something... sure, the club will always try to help the "new guy", but if you're just a "taker" and not a "giver" too, those helpers will become fewer and fewer.

Later,

Lonzo... with more friends than George Bailey ever dreamed of having...

James,
This is but one good reason to join a local Corvair club, AND CORSA. Local
lub people will not only often have (or help you find) what you need, but
ome times even help you get it installed. It's those kind of friendships
hat you can't make=2
0over the internet. They have to come from membership in
our local and the national club.
I do hope that you will consider joining your local Corvair club and CORSA,
ven if you aren't interested in "being a member" of any club. You will be
mazed at the benefits that are there, if only you reach out for them.
