When you screw up he says, "  let me check my bag of tricks"

You'll be driving down the road and he'll just say things like,  "  
never mind the noise from the trunk ",   "how about we visit a 
graveyard?", you're driving as if you life depended on it"

   All of them will take you a slightly longer way  on residential 
streets.. especially newer ones! [ map updates ]
  One of the Garmin Nuvi  features I like is " Where am I?"   Save it, 
and you can always get back to the "paradise spot"  you found in the 
middle of a forrest...
