i have used 2 fc bearing kits , 4 car kits , and 2 complete assemblies from 
 clark's and all are fine. i also think the use of synthetic grease 
(supplied ,  looks like amsoil red) is going to help them last longer.
i have also used a bg product on elier repack jobs that seem to still be ok 
 after several years.  just be sure to get ALL the old grease out , and 
look  at rollers and races carefully.
