<VV> Oil pressure sender for the dash light

I've been thinking about this problem, and here is my take. The
original sender switch for the dash light works like this. When
there is no pressure, the sender is grounded and the light comes on.
As the pressure increases during startup, the sender looses ground
and the light goes off.
On the sender from Cal, the opposite happens. When there is no
pressure, the sender breaks ground and no electricity is fed to the
fuel pump. As pressure increases during startup, the ground is made
and electricity flows to the fuel pump.

In that case, I would not be able to use the shutoff sender to work
the dash light.

Now, if I'm correct in my examination of this circuitry, is my
solution the Vega type sender, and if so, what year model Vega will I
ask for when the inevitable question of "what's the make and model"
of the car comes up at the local FLAPS?
