Bob - The National office is looking at current reality. The concours
involves high-dollar people and/or highly obsessed people. Look back at
past conventions where there have been huge controversies - they nearly
always involve the concours.

At any given National there are numerous concours entrants who have no use
for the rest of the convention, no use for Corsa and wouldn't even pay
their membership except that it would be required to enter the concours.

I'm not running down the event or MOST concours entrants. I'm talking
about that minority of people who enter under the mistaken impression that
Corsa and the convention is only there to give THEM a venue to show off
their wonderful car and give THEM a nice trophy so they have something to
brag about.

That minority is loud and sometimes influential. You know about squeaky
wheels.

Maybe these comments upset a few of those folks - but the rest of us know
exactly what I'm talking about.
