A single-rotor Wankel was supposed to power the Chevette as well!
Apparently that motor worked about as well as everything else that came out
of Powertrain in that era (the buzz was that the prototypes vibrated like a
rock-crusher!), then they looked at a V-4 based on the small-block that also
didn't work, so they hurriedly and rather desperately dumped a
Brazilian-made Opel motor into that POS!
