<VV> GM had every reason to discontinue the Corvair

The TH250 came much later. The TH350 was introduced near the end of the 
Corvair run. The TH400 was around first. That one was just too big for 
the Corvair.

I understand the Turbo-Hydramatic 250 was designed for use in small 
cars, and GM

may have had plans to use it in the Corvair.  I believe it was used in 
the Vega
and its 4 cylinder siblings...Bill Hershkowitz
