<VV> Spyder/Corsa turbo -- fast & furious

I had the original sales receipt from one of my 60 4dr Parts cars---she put
500.00 down, and had 24 payments. Can't remember the amount of the payments
but If I had to guess is was about 70.00/mo. In the 60's my father worked in
a steel mill and got about 100.00/wk take-home.

When I bought my 05 F-150 the payments (72 mos) was 369.00 and I was making
about 450/wk at the time.

A decent rule of thumb would be that a car payment is about 1week's income.

I love my vair but wouldn't want to have to change coolant every 6 months,
tune up every 12K miles, etc etc like the average water pumper did back
then.

Hank
