Yea when I did my 60 I masked off all the trim I could not or would not
remove. Worked out fine.

If you are talking about the stainless strips along the edge of the "drip
rails" (gutters?), my opinion is mask them off and do not remove.  It is
virtually impossible to avoid damage to these.  Easiest thing to do is get a
convertible since they don't have them (GRIN).
