<VV> Fuel milage and the cold

It's not the gas, the total energy per gallon doesn't change materially winter to summer. Vapor pressure is higher with winter blends, to ease starting, but that has no impact on gas mileage in and of itself.

Probably the gas formulation. When I lived in Colorado and tracked my gas
mileage really closely, the mileage went down every November when we switched to
the winter blend gas and went right back up in April?? When we switched back.

Does colder temperatures give you worse or less gas mileage? I have to drive my
'63 84/pg year-round and have noticed my mileage drop from 21/22 on average to
17/18. Comments? Physics reasons? Thanks
