<VV> Door striker hardware

The driver door on my 63 vert has not latched easily for a long time. I
finally went to adjust the striker on the body and found that the previous
owner had stripped out the large countersink Phillips head bolts that hold
it on. While at work, I rummaged through the proper parts bin only to find
that all the used ones are in as bad or worse shape as mine. I then took a
sample to two different large automotive hardware stores to get
replacements. They both said that they were not available. I looked in my
east coast competitor’s catalog and even called a local southern California
competitor, both to no avail.

These bolts are 5/16-18 by 1 inch. The Phillips head is smaller than normal
and countersink. I believe that one of the hardware guys said that the head
was ¼ inch. I also found out that the 60-62 is fine thread and the 63-64 is
course thread (18tpi).

Does anyone know where I can get replacements? Best case scenario would be
Allen or torx drive but Phillips will suffice. I need the course thread but
would also like to find the fine thread too. If I can find a supplier, I can
repair my car properly and even stock some for my customers.

Thanks in advance for any info
