       Well I found out that the oil pressure switch for our corvair  
is an mopar,1964 dart #PS-30 the only thing that has to be done, is  
the end has changes,and it is set at 8-13 PSI , It was in our CORSA  
COMMUNIQUE, IN 2007.I got it at auto zone for six bucks.

Putting in a somewhat higher pressure switch is a good idea - the  
stock switch is essentially just telling you there isn't any pressure  
at all.  10 PSI at idle is low for a Corvair, but if something's just  
a little wrong this will let you know to shut it down and check for a  
problem.  I'm thinking a 20 psi switch would be a pretty good choice  
as well, a good engine should really have that much pressure all the  
time.
