Well-chewed (to remove the sugar) bubble gum works best, but it is 
nearly as permanent as JB's stick of epoxy and both make a good 
temporary solution to a problem in search of a more permanent one.  Both 
will stick to a leak in progress, ie, wet. One is a lot more fun to chew 
than the other.
